The Tao of Homoeopathy: With computer technology and AI threatening to replace a great deal of the human element from many professions including healthcare, it is worth considering what we can offer as homeopaths that is truly unique, invaluable and can never be artificially replicated.
The Innate Wellbeing paradigm & its implications for homoeopaths: The insights of Samuel Hahnemann revealed the principles of true healing that derive from the life force intelligence itself, transforming what we consider to be possible in terms of restoring the sick to health. In 1973, the insights of Sydney Banks revealed the principles behind all human psychological functioning, and these discoveries are transforming the fields of mental health, prevention, addictions recovery and much more. In this talk Ian will share how an understanding of these simple principles brings a new level of ease and effectiveness to your practice, simplifying casework and facilitating the removal of the number one maintaining cause/obstacle to cure faced by your clients in modern society – chronic mental stress.
Ian Watson began studying homoeopathy, herbs and flower essences as a teenager in the mid 1970’s..
He subsequently trained and graduated from the College of Homeopathy in London in 1988. He ran a busy group practice in Cumbria for many years and became established as a lecturer at various homoeopathic schools in the UK and overseas.
He co-founded The Lakeland College of Homeopathy in 1993 and was the college director until 2003. He wrote and published four books including A Guide to the Methodologies of Homeopathy and The Tao of Homeopathy.
Ian has a lifelong interest in personal transformation, and he studied and practiced a wide variety of psychological and emotional healing disciplines from 2002 onwards.
These included Journey Process work, Emotional Freedom Technique, Shen Physio-emotional Release Therapy, Jungian psychology, Byron Katie work, family constellations and Hakomi technique.
In 2011 he was introduced to the Three Principles paradigm discovered by Sydney Banks which is revolutionising the field of mental health, and this simple understanding has been a foundational aspect of his work ever since. In 2013 Ian founded The Insight Space as a vehicle for his educational and training programmes.
He has been invited to share his understanding in schools, with healthcare professionals and in various organisations. Whilst no longer offering individual homeopathic consultations, Ian continues to support homoeopathic students and practitioners in learning how to practice with ease, enjoyment and confidence.
Ian was particularly inspired in his homoeopathic approach by his friend and teacher Dr. Robin Murphy.
