Webinar Couplet - Patricia Hatherly: Why did Hahnemann Nominate Just Three Miasms? PLUS an Overview of the Lacs

Join Patricia Hatherly for a fascinating deep dive into miasmatic theory and the kingdom of the Lacs. The first session will discuss Patricia's contention that Hahnemann's three miasms correlate to the three metabolic pathways in the body. In the second session Patricia will discuss the Lacs as a group with an emphasis on how to successfully use these medicines in practice.

About the Presentation:

Session 1: In this session Patricia will contend that Hahnemann's three miasms correlate to the three metabolic pathways. In turn this makes Hahnemann, unwittingly, the father of epigenetics, and the miasms potentially our allies rather than our enemies. The traditionally held view is that psora is the primary "engenderer of all disease", making it the epigenetic tag that we associate with under-function and lack, and it is usually considered from a negative standpoint. However Patricia seeks to bring balance to this perspective and also highlight the positive aspects of sycosis (which allows us to flourish and grow), and those of luesis (which allows us to reinvent ourselves and persist in the face of devastating obstacles). This presentation will help us to understand that it is psora, which regulates homeostasis and lays the foundation for optimal personal development, which assists us in our quest for self-realisation.

Session 2: This session will give us a synoptic overview of each of the 20 Lac medicines which constitute the basis of that kingdom. Patricia's emphasis in this session will be on outlining the predominant theme/essence, miasm and keynotes, which will make for easier clinical recognition and differential diagnosis when a Lac is being considered in case analysis.
