While investigating autism treatments for a major project to complete her science degree, Nyema Hermiston came across a surprising number of scientific papers that help to explain the underlying reasons for the rapid increase of autism around the world. In this seminar, Nyema will present her findings, and based on these, she will propose evidence based ways to promote healthy neurodevelopment.
This seminar is suitable for homeopaths, health professionals who treat autistic children, parents, and anyone interested to learn more about how to reduce the risks of autism.

About the presenter:
Nyema Hermiston has been practising natural therapies in NSW since 1992. She has a special interest in using natural medicines to treat childhood illnesses to avoid the unwanted side effects of medications. In 1998 she initiated 'The Children’s Ear Clinic' to provide alternatives to antibiotic therapy, and has presented practitioner seminars around Australia.
Nyema has also published three self-help books to support parents in treating their children using natural medicines. Since she began practicing, Nyema has seen the numbers of children on the autism spectrum rise steadily, and the toll it takes on families schools and communities. Her research focusses on preventative strategies to help reduce the incidence of autism.
